Downtown Savannah is approximately 2 ½ hours from Charleston; 4 hours from Atlanta and Charlotte; 4 ½ hours from Orlando; and 5 hours from Raleigh-Durham.

Plug Geekend’s official Coastal Georgia Center location into your favorite map service or trusty GPS device and you’re ready to hit the road.

Delta, US Airways, Continental, United, and American Airlines have flights in and out of the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, with many non-stop flights available.

Once you arrive at the Savannah airport, you can choose from the multiple rental car options available or simply hop in a cab to your hotel (downtown Savannah is quite walkable).

It’s a 15-minute ride between the Savannah airport and downtown Savannah.
